I think I will quit adding pictures to this site. I plan to leave it as is. I just can't keep up three sites very well, and I will probably add my pictures to my other blog and re-name it. I also have a blog for my church which I want to keep up. It's not the end of pictures, just the end of pictures at this site.

Jingle Bell 5K Results

I'm not ashamed of the placing of Will and Ashley. The fact that they entered a 5K impresses me. It wasn't but just a few months ago that the thoughts of running a 5K in the the cold, drizzle would have made them laugh. I applaud their persistence, and all attempts at getting healthy! Also, Will placed 3rd in his age division and won a engraved Christmas ornament. Kudos to you both!

We raised poodles, so we always had lots of dogs, but this one was my favorite--Honey!

I've always had dogs as long as I can remember, and Hannah has grown up the same way!

Fire Escape Plan Brought Loot!

Hannah drew a fire escape plan and entered it into a contest, although I didn't really realize it was a contest. I thought it was a mandatory project for school. Regardless, doing this got her a a new bicycle, a helmet, and a fishing rod.

The Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy visited our house last night, and Hannah was so excited. She read a story back in Kindergarten that explained that the tooth fairy takes the teeth she gathers and gives them to babies who are growing their teeth. She was very excited by this and told me that she wanted Babie Gracie to have her teeth. We saw Babie Gracie yesterday and after seeing that Gracie has already acquired two teeth, Hannah was concerned. So after I pulled her tooth last night, she wrote the tooth fairy the following note:

Der toth fere I lost my toth and I wont you to giv it to my litl babe Gracie, Hannah Diggs

I have also used this theory to help in the brushing of teeth, because if Gracie is going to get her teeth she needs to really take care of them.
